About Nora

Hi there, I'm Nora, an ASHA certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) based in scenic Lake George, NY. I am deeply committed to enhancing communication, swallowing, and quality of life for both children and adults. Raised in Queensbury, NY, I've always felt a strong connection to this community, which inspired me to return to my roots in 2020 after practicing in multiple states.

My journey in speech-language pathology began at SUNY Cortland, where I earned my Bachelor's degree, followed by a Master's degree from the University of Rhode Island. With over 15 years of diverse experience, I have honed my skills in various settings, including out-patient clinics, hospitals, home-health environments, and skilled nursing facilities.

One of my most profound areas of expertise is in managing dysphagia. For over 13 years, I have dedicated myself to helping individuals improve their swallowing abilities, reduce their risk of illness, and maximize their overall quality of life. Witnessing someone regain the joy of eating without fear is incredibly rewarding.

As a mother of two boys, working with children holds a special place in my practice. There is nothing quite like helping a child say their first word, boosting their confidence, and witnessing their success in school. These moments are not only milestones for the children and their families but are also deeply gratifying for me as a therapist.

My services are not limited to traditional settings. I understand the importance of accessibility and comfort, offering therapy in the convenience of your own home and through teletherapy. My expertise covers a wide range of areas including Aphasia, Dysphagia, Dysarthria, Cognitive Communication Disorders (CCD), Speech and Language Delays, Speech Sound Disorders, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Beyond my professional role, I am an active participant in giving back to and helping our local community. I believe that being a Speech-Language Pathologist is not just about providing therapy but also about building a community where everyone has the opportunity to communicate effectively, swallow safely, and live fulfilling lives.
